During packing your stuff into moving boxes you will come across items that are small and need to be contained(examples below). For this we can use 16 oz (or smaller) plastic bottles of water or soda.
2 Great benefits of using plastic bottles for packing small items:
1) its not breakable and when the cap is on tight its almost impossible to crush.
2) doing something good for the environment by reusing plastic creatively.
Some useful stuff to packing into Plastic bottles:
1) Art stuff such as: beads, glitter, pins, safely pins.
2) Office stuff such as: paper clips , thumbtack, rubber bands( put around outside of bottle)
3) Kitchen stuff such as: Salt, pepper and other spices.
3a) Other Kitchen Stuff for example: If you have large bottles of cooking oil put them in smaller bottles so you will save space in your moving boxes.
4) Personal stuff such as: braclets, necklace, charms. Clear bottles work best so you can see what is inside. Also if its very valuable it would be best to keep on you during your move.
Before you start packing for your move make sure to save a few plastic bottles to be part of your moving supplies that you have.
