Some great ideas when moving with a tight budget is to use old bed sheets, blankets and linen for cushioning breakable items. I actually got this idea from watching a movie on the television where this lady was being evacuated from her house and she had to quickly pack her stuff; she just wrapped up her plates and cups in bed sheets and blankets. Ah, inspiration can come from anywhere.
Another simple way to save on moving supplies is to get your packing peanuts from your local electrical supplies shop. They usually have these packing peanuts in bulk and if you just get a little from a few stores, you will have ample for your own use. You could also start saving from when you purchase electrical items but I dont think, moving is something we plan for, at all.
